Late Merry Xmas & Happy New Year! - Unisonic Champion 2711 on the Intellivision ?!?

Hi folks!

Last year wasn't my best year as many personal things happened but now it's a new year which just started and hopefully it will be (way) better than last year.

Decle of Atari Age forum has posted this announcement on January 1st, 2018: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/273767-lil-bro-ii-a-better-unisonic-champion-simulator-for-the-intellivision/   Talk about beginning the New Year with a bang! LOL!

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Unisonic Champion 2711 (Hey! Even the world's most obscure game system can have a celebration), decle released for now three game packs of the Champion 2711 which are: Blackjack & Baccarat (the built-in games), Poker Games and Family Fun simulated for the Mattel Intellivision! Yep...that's right...for the Intellivision as both game systems uses the same CPU (CP1600).

The two missing packs will be coming pretty soon so keep an eye out as decle has done a marvelous job simulating these games on the Intellivision! =)

Until next,

Tomy TV-Fun 602 TV Game // トミー TV FUN 602 テレビゲーム

After about 15 years...i finally got one of the most unknown Japanese Pong console ever: the Tomy TV-Fun model 602! And as Fall starts today, i have received this rare game console as it was the last game console/system i was truly looking for, but sadly, i am not enjoying it as i should be as my father passed away 4 days ago so sorry if i'm not jumping and screaming like a little kid who received the best toy. But this TV Game will be forever in my mind (last console / father passed away).

So without waiting, here's some pictures i just took:

And here's the "guts" or teardown of this console:

And here's the infamous game chip, photographed for the first time!

And now, here's some screenshot of the 3 games:

RF connected..ARGH! But at least i know it works.

5 minutes later, 1st attempt to plug by video input...Booya!

So easy to modify to "Video Output", just connect a wire to Pin #17 (it is the
Composite Video output on the MSL9320).

Clear image, way better than RF!

 The "Squash" game.

The "Tennis" game (duh!).

And the final one, the "Hockey" game.

So that's it for now folks. The next post will be videos of this rare gem! Until next!

Death in the family...

Last Sunday (September 17, 2017) my father passed away at the age of 75 of leukemia. He was
diagnosed with this cancer only in April and after 5 months, he his now in a better world.
As i would say, it's not a farewell but only a "next time" as we all must go one day.

So to my father, see you next time and until then, i'll miss you so much! :(

Reply to Dennys Marques Ferreira (for Entex/Epoch)

Dennys wrote (January 07, 2017):

Incrível, mas eu gostaria de saber qual é o título da janela, para poder usar em frontends.

Translation: Amazing, but I'd like to know what the window title is, so I can use it in frontends.

In English: Hello Dennis, just press "F1" and you will see the title of the simulator, same as all other simulators i have and will done. The default resolution for any simulators is 800x600 in Window mode but can change to any resolution by pressing "F7" or "F8". =)

Entex Gameroom Tele-Pong & Epoch Electrotennis all-in-1 Sim

Hi folks!

As i promised to Miguel Simón, i just made a new version of the Epoch Electrotennis and since the Entex is a clone of this console, i've combined both previous simulators into one. The intro boot screen for both previous sims are now gone so when you start a game, it is in "pause" mode so this gives time to players to be ready before starting a game.

The new sim also boots-up in full screen mode and a new addition is that you can now choose the resolution you want but still depending on the TV or Video Card which resolution it can displays. Please do read the text file which is inside the RAR file.

You can donwload this new version (0.10.1) in the "Simulators" section of the right-side of this blog. Hope you'll like it! =)
